BSI UN-CURE™ DEBONDER

ATTKTX™ has partnered with Bob Smith Industries (bSi™) to offer affordable, American-made thread lockers, debonders, and adhesives for the paintball community.

Paintball components can be tricky to disassemble due to delicate anodizing, tight spaces, and poor thread locker choices. While heat is commonly used, it can damage or discolor parts if applied incorrectly.

ATTKX™ was impressed with UN-CURE™'s ability to soften thread lockers, offering a safer alternative to heat for delicate paintball projects.

DIRECTIONS

-Apply drops to the screw/threaded area, ensuring contact with the thread locker (apply from multiple directions if possible)

-Wait times may vary from several minutes, to longer if necessary. UN-CURE™ will eventually evaporate and may need reapplication 

-Use the correct removal tool for the fastener

-Fixturing with soft jaws can help prevent damage to parts 

-Loosen the screw by working it back and forth, reapplying UN-CURE™ as needed until the screw is removed

-UN-CURE™ works quickly but may evaporate if left too long, causing the thread locker to re-harden

-Anodizing is typically unaffected by UN-CURE™, but parts should be cleaned with soap and water after removal.

-Use suitable thread locker for reinstallation

-UN-CURE™ should be used with caution around plastics, as it may soften them.

-RESULTS MAY VARY: While UN-CURE™ has been effective in removing small factory gunfighter guide screws, results depend on factors such as thread locker type, thread tolerances, fastener size, and application. If threads are too locked with limited surface area for the solvent, heat may be required as a last resort.
